@AppleImpression Well, it’s not the appearance of Windows 7 that makes it better than Vista. Vista had an additional layer of translation between the hardware and the operating system that made graphics run worse (some said almost 30%) than XP. So, many people stayed with XP, with good reason. With W7 M$ either removed that layer or made it better. I haven’t checked into it that deeply yet.
F*** libraries and windows 7. The Windows interface has been getting progressively worse since Windows 2000… I want an OS to run MY programs. Not a f***ing carnival ride choosing how I want files and folders displayed.
Thanks for your well illustrated video with some useful tips & tricks. It’s great to get some insight to 7 before I make the switch from XP. Using Vista on other PC’s frustrated me so much that I decided not to go there with my own. Now I’ll get best of XP & Vista combination in 7.

@AppleImpression Actually, W7 is better for gamers than Vista. Vista had a stupidly different video subsystem that made it run worse than XP.

When I go to change the color of my taskbar it says Window Color, Not custom and I can change the color of it when I go to personalization….
