how can i upgrade windows 7 starter to home edition for free?
i have a hp mini laptop with window 7 starter as well as all i wish to do is shift a background. in sequence to do which i have to ascent to windows 7 home book wich is .77. buck anybody know where i can do which for free?

The only legal way to upgrade is through Microsoft. If you choose to try a different route, you risk running a non-genuine version of Windows 7 – http://windows.microsoft.com/en-US/windows7/genuine
If you wish to upgrade, you can do so by using the Windows 7 Anytime Upgrade – http://windows.microsoft.com/en-us/windows7/products/windows-anytime-upgrade

Nope sorry bud. Upgrading without paying for the upgrade license is actually illegal and considered theft.
If you go to Newegg.com though and look for the OEM full version it’s usually cheaper than the retail upgrade version.
