March 21, 2006 Microsoft is planning to ship its next major version of Windows–known internally as version "7"–within roughly three years, CNET News.com has learned. And a 17-Gig hard disk wouldn’t be big enough to hold the operating system and all the stuff you’d start adding. Try 80-120 Gig and you might make it.
Windows 7 is not even close to the Beta stage yet.

Is Windows 7 even in a public beta stage yet? I’m pretty sure it isn’t.
If you’re looking for a computer operating system, try Ubuntu Linux. It’s free and "gives" you the internet, word processors, video players, etc.
