Is Windows 7 even in a public beta stage yet? I'm pretty sure it isn't.

If you're looking for a computer operating system, try Ubuntu Linux. It's free and "gives" you the internet, word processors, video players, etc.

March 21, 2006 Microsoft is planning to ship its next major version of Windows--known internally as version "7"--within roughly three years, CNET News.com has learned. And a 17-Gig hard disk wouldn't be big enough to hold the operating system and all the stuff you'd start adding. Try 80-120 Gig and you might make it.

Windows 7 is not even close to the Beta stage yet.
