What we see here is just what we did as well as how it happened. My HP mechanism came with a Windows 7 Upgrade. we was to get a Win 7 hoop when it became accessible final Oct from Microsoft. we motionless video my implement it so we could have up your thoughts to implement or not, if your hesitant. My VISTA ascent went to a Blue Screen of genocide as well as we had to do a purify install. It was difficult. we was anticipating which would not occur with Windows 7. It didn’t! Please do not try to modify me to a Mac since we have been with Windows so long, we could not means to change. Besides, we similar to all a simulators which work with PC’s as well as not Mac. we have found Windows 7 a most beguiling to use. It has most tidy design modifying facilities as well as all is operative exquisitely so far. It took Microsoft a while, though this seems a most appropriate yet. www.microsoft.com For a fix, download a spectator from here. http Thanks for examination as well as subscribing. Dave

So I’m guessing a clean install wouldn’t take so long, right?

I saw your vista installation what a pain in the ass! O and all those games are just crap that hp loads on your computer, same with mines.

@jmey107 You have to buy upgrades with Macs… Also, there’s no such thing as a trouble-free computer. Macs have problems; they just don’t tell you. (:

Good for you, lol. I build my pc’s specifically for gaming, I suppose it depends on your hardware, a Mac with suitable hardware (especially graphics card wise) I have no doubt can run pc games on 7 using boot camp as well as a pc can, much better? I do seriously doubt that. I should have been more specific in my original post!

  10. Mordeth6000 Says:

I beg to differ. My 7 and bootcamp run games much better than any straight up windows pc I’ve used, and I do have access to many.

I have windows 7 on my mac. Why settle for a Windows based PC when you can have both? Mac hardware is amazing, plus if you’re in the production industry, Final Cut Pro is a necessity. Sure there are more games for the Windows platform, but like I said, I’ve got that covered.

  14. chiosex Says:

True, but you cant get the same gaming experience on a mac even running xp or 7 via boot camp etc

Oh and “timemachines” are basically external hdd drives and have a reported problem with longevity!

85% worldwide use windows,it’s not perfect but it works, you can play games(lots of games),It’s cheaper(hardware&software),less restricitive, has much more available free, can do everything a mac can do,including easily finding files, backing up w/o an external hdd.Has system restore, you can change&adapt it easier than Macs pretty lockeddown os and hardware.Macs aint bad,I love my iphone(also restricted). Why would anyone use a mac?windows, especially 7 is fantastic! & games games games!

i cant believe people still use windows. why not get a mac and a timemachine that backsup automatically every 60 minutes on its own. who wants to copy and paste files you have to find?? great vid but im baffled that people dont understand there is something easier that works when you need it to and you don’t need to even think about the hassle of finding and copy/pasting files to your external hd…… i love your rc vids your the one i turn to on youtube for rc

You are like that video professor guy with free lessons… Great video!!! I’m sure that many non-techy people out there will benefit from this video…

(4:23) Those are games that are installed in your computer… They should be in the “My HP Games” folder in the All Programs folder… Bejewled Rocks!!!

    Take Care!!!

good video dave never had you pegged for a techie. I myself am a tech and I usually advise against upgrade installs vs clean but in your case it makes sense. Good use of backups and great tips (ie making it a reminder in the video to backup)

Kudos and keep up the good work

great video!! what your sys specs??

  22. digger678 Says:

hi Dave,do you know of any good flight sim programs and hardware for esky belt cp?that will run with windows7?and the esky king3 helo?any advise would be great,thanks-tom

  23. jasmine2501 Says:

They do now, mine came with it. Then I got two 1000GB drives to back up video files – they are small like the one Dave has. I mirror them so I only have 1500GB total, but I have double reliability in case one of the 1000′s fails. HDs are cheap these days – good idea to get some extras :)

  24. HangarX1 Says:

    500GB!

Why don’t they put those in the computer itsself?

  25. jmey107 Says:

@NightFlyyer yes thats true, i have to use my dads laptop to play my sim, but u can download a program that turns a mac into a windows setup, my friend’s dad did that to his mac to play realflight
